Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • Optional: Sea salt for garnish

  • Candy thermometer
  • Medium saucepan

Method
 

  1. Line your baking pan with parchment paper, ensuring complete coverage
  2. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in the saucepan
  3. Heat mixture to 300°F (hard crack stage) using candy thermometer
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in peanut butter
  5. Pour mixture into prepared pan and let cool completely
  6. Break into irregular pieces
  7. Melt chocolate chips and coat each piece
  8. Refrigerate until chocolate sets
