- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare baking pan
- Mix cake ingredients according to package directions
- Bake cake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown
- Carefully poke holes across entire cake surface
- Pour sweetened condensed milk over cake
- Drizzle caramel sauce into holes
- Cool cake completely
- Spread German chocolate frosting
- Sprinkle coconut and pecans on top
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving
