The Greek salad

Summer's most refreshing salad brings Mediterranean flavors to your table. The Greek salad recipe captures sunshine on a plate. It combines vibrant vegetables with rich, robust ingredients that dance across your palate.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cucumber diced
  • 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives
  • 200 g feta cheese cubed
  • 2 tablespoons italian vinaigrette
  • Fresh oregano leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Sharp chef's knife
  • Cutting board
  • Salad spinner (optional)
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method
 

  1. Wash and chop all veggies into the same size pieces
  2. Put veggies in a big mixing bowl
  3. Crumb feta cheese over the veggies
  4. Add Kalamata olives
  5. Drizzle with italian vinaigrette
  6. Sprinkle fresh oregano, salt, and pepper
  7. Gently toss everything together
  8. Serve right away and enjoy!
